Target one of the most exciting inshore fisheries of the season aboard the Capt. John & Son II with our Tautog (Blackfish) Trips running April through early May and again from October through December. Fishing the rocky bottom and wrecks that tautog call home, these trips offer hard-fighting fish, steady action, and a true New England fishing experience. Whether you’re a seasoned blackfish angler or new to the fishery, our experienced captain and crew will put you on productive grounds and help you every step of the way. 

F/V Capt. John and Son II – (NEW) Ultra Low Capacity Spring Blackfish

Departs 6 AM and returns at 1 PM (October – December)

This will be our first year running for Fall Tautog. These trips will be 7 Hours of bottom fishing on structures within Nantucket Sound. These trips will be limited to 25 passengers on the 90ft Capt. John and Son II.
